From Dave:
First, thanks to all the devoted classmates involved with this excellent Web site and the campaign to find folks. In the spirit of life-since-'86 summations: '90 Baldwin-Wallace College grad with biz and speech communication majors. Held various ad agency, PR firm and corporate marketing gigs '90 through '01. Clients were in manufacturing, publishing, tech and management consulting. Bootstrap start-up (www.lineogroup.com) in late '01, landed GE Consumer & Industrial as a client in '03 and went to work for them as an employee this year. My work involves public relations strategy, media relations and lots of writing. In '96, I married Pam Stein (Painesville – Riverside H.S.), my college sweetheart. We wed at Old Stone Church in Cleveland and held the reception at Hudson Country Club. Pam is executive director of a local chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Did you ever think you could love someone as much as your own kids? We live for our four rug rats—Ella (7), Henry (4), Calvin (4) and Cara (2 months). For any fellow Hudson pre-school through Hudson High School classmates out there, our nursery school teacher, Mrs. Van Osdol, still runs a pre-school in town. She’s about 150 years old now, so she has scaled back to just administrative work. For example, if I were to go back under her care this year and drink too much purple grape juice some morning, bounce around too much, and then heave all over the place, re-living an actual mid ‘70s experience, she’d have people to clean it up. Her place is on the square instead of in the old high school. Here’s hoping I won’t heave at the reunion. Sincerely looking forward to seeing everyone and hearing about life since 1986 Hudson.

From Lisa:
After high school, I moved to Charlotte, NC where I lived for 4 years. After moving to California and numerous other states including Washington, where I attended Central Washington University, I settled in Las Vegas, NV. I now live here with my 2 children, Cody (14) and Tawnee (almost 12). I am happily divorced and have been with Dan for more than 5 wonderful years. He is 10 years older than me, but keeps me young with his playfulness. Unfortunately, I just heard about the reunion, so I won't be able to attend, but Dan and I will be in Ohio for my father's birthday the first week in August. The "Now" picture is a picture of Dan and I when we went fishing in Seattle last year (we also saw the best football team in the country, the Seahawks, beat the Rams (Dan's favorite team)). It's great seeing the "Then" and "Now" pictures of everyone.

Hello there HHS Class of '86. This is John Simpson checking in from Auckland, New Zealand. Hope you have a great reunion, sorry but I am unable to make the journey. Where to begin? I could start with the many years of college (I should have a Phd), the years of following the Grateful Dead (seeing 30+ concerts) or my adventurous years in Steamboat, Colorado (Ski Business marketing major). But instead I'll start with when real life began for me. About 10 yrs ago, I became a Christian and began a real relationship with God. So much has happened since...Went to bible college...went into full time ministry with Every Nation Ministries...worked in campus ministry at Vanderbilt, Duke and UNC...helped start a new church reaching university students in Nashville (Now meeting at the old Planet Hollywood)...travelled all over the world with our ministry...Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Phillipines, Poland, new Zealand...met and married Cindy Chia (originally from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia)...had 4 beautiful children in 5 years...pastored at a church in Durham, NC...we felt the call to Auckland, New Zealand...moved to New Zealand in 2004...currently pastoring a charismatic church of several hundred young Pacific Islanders (Samoan, Tongan, Maori and Fijian). All this to say that God is good and is able to do above and beyond what we could ask for, think or imagine. Bless you all! Check out our website or drop me an email, I'd love to hear from you. john.simpson@everynation.org

From Judy:
A big Texas "howdy" to everyone. I can't believe 20 years has gone by--I certainly don't feel that old! I'm living in Dallas, TX where I am an Occupational Therapist at the Dallas VA Medical Center. Life is good!! I love to travel--some of my more memorable trips have been to Australia, Hawaii, and Honduras (where I went as part of a rehabilitation mission team). I took up running last year, and to my surprise, I enjoy it. I just signed up for 1/2 marathon training--yikes--what am I thinking? Can't wait to catch up with everyone at the reunion. UPDATE: I finally made the move back to Georgia (Atlanta area) in January 2008. I sure miss Texas, but it's good to be near family.

Hey all! I don't know where all my "then" pics are... but I really haven't changed that much, well. except for the loss of braces, and my hair... which seemed to happen at about the same time, haha! Anyway, I am happily married and have two crazy boys Logan almost 12, and Stone 10. You can usually find us on saturday afternoons hanging out at Hudson toy train and hobby while my boys learn new yo-yo tricks at the yo-yo club. I am a very active member of the Cleveland arts community. I am showing works in several galleries around town and in a few galleries across the country. I own and operate www.ismudge.com, and www.theclevelandcanvas.com. I was recently named Ex. Dir. of Art and Fashion for www.TapItFame.com in LA. But I won't be moving out of town, technology is a groovy thing. I sit on the Board of Directors for The Cleveland Artists Foundation... and a bunch of other stufff in arts, I won't bore you any more. If you want to know more, feel free to drop me an email! Hope to catch up with you all at the reunion. todd

Weird picture I know, but in every picture I have I'm doing something goofy so this was tame in comparison. As for the "before" picture, I have no idea how to use my scanner so forget about it. Let's see, in the last 20 years I have had about 5 different careers ranging from working for a couple of airlines to working in video production to teaching high school (yuck!). I currently work at Kent State University as a program coordinator for a learning community which means that my office is in one of the dorms - crazy! and it brings back a lot of memories. I've been married for 8 years and we lived in NC for awhile (which we loved) but came back to the area when my husband got his job at Kent State.

From Folkard:
After my year as an exchange student in Hudson, I have moved back to Germany where I studied economics and banking - but have managed to be back in Hudson on average every second year and touring the US. After working for Transparency International and the Aspen Institute in Berlin, I just moved early July to Kenya where I head the finance department of Veterinarians without Borders' East Africa Regional Office (I hope this is an excaptable excuse for missing the reunion...). As I had to travel light, I have no "then" picture with me and only a boring visa application picture - but yes, the beard is new. My wife, Tine - also an exchange student to the US (Iowa) - is still in Berlin but will join me in a few months. Take care!

From Dennis:
I left high school for Chicago to become a musician and ended up a CPA. It could be worse - I suppose I could have ended up an attorney (like Heinzerling). My wife, Paula, and I have been married for 10 years. We live on the north side and have three wonderful girls - ages 7, 4, and 2. In my 20 years in Chicago I've become a pretty die hard Cubs fan. Much like being an Indians fan in my youth, this entails endless suffering and pain. For fun I still play for music with my band, the Velvet Cadillacs. Instead of playing in arenas and stadiums and making the millions I'd envisioned, we generally play for a free beer and the door. I'd upload a "then" picture if I knew where to find one, although I have little incentive to find a picture that demonstrates the extent of my ever receding hairline. I look forward to catching up with everyone at the reunion - both Whedon Grille on Friday 7/14 and at Lake Forest on Saturday 7/15.
